SUMMER PROGRAM
DAY PROGRAMS FOR AGES 7-11
Day programs are a great place to start. Our Day School offers fun and age-appropriate wilderness living and adventures activities for children, ages 7 – 11.

ADVENTURES FOR SMALL PEOPLE
Teachers: Lynne Boudreau, Dan Simons
5 days, Easy
Skill level: Beginner
Ages 7–8, June 30 – July 4, 8:30AM- 4:30PM Daily

Our focus in this program is to provide time for the children to play, explore, discover and have lots and lots of fun in nature. We’ve mixed our adventures and scaled them down a bit to meet the ability level and the magic of 7 and 8 year-olds. In this program, children will paddle a canoe, find treasures in the woods, and climb rocks. Additionally, we will work in the garden and take care of the animals, play games, sing songs, swim, hear stories and make friends. Days will be full of fun and laughter and will be sure to healthily tire out your young ones.

INTRODUCTION TO ADVENTURE DAY PROGRAM
Teacher: Jamie Coulter
5 days, Easy
Skill level: Beginner
Ages 9 – 11, June 30 – July 4, 8AM - 4:30PM Daily

Our classic start-up program! Each day will bring a new activity:

  • Wilderness living skills
  • Handwork Map and Compass Orienteering
  • Rock Climbing or White Water Rafting
  • Canoeing Working with our farm animals and in the garden
  • Cooking over the open fire

Every day we will play games, explore in the woods, swim, stretch, sing songs, hear stories and have lots and lots of fun. The last night of the program we’ll have a sleepover at Kroka Village!
