Our New Home

Our new base camp now has:

  • A farmhouse, with residences for Lynne and Misha’s family and Lisl, as well as a guest room and Kroka offices

  • An attached remodeled barn with newly designed food packout room, equipment room, the horse and sheep stalls and a 40’ long shed roof for equipment storage

  • A workshop yurt

  • The Big Yurt Lodge with newly finished floor and improved foundation

  • A solar shed

  • Staff residences: the small yurt and the log cabin

  • A saami gamme – just finished by the Vermont Semester ’08 students

  • A new driveway with parking for 24 vehicles

  • 15 acres of fields waiting for the farm to begin

  • 60 acres of magical forest with climbing cliffs, beaver pond and diverse northern forest

  • A lovely stream
