Wonderful Wilderness
gorgeous wilderness
orange, brown, lemon, garnet
peaceful and quiet. Soup

soup so hot and tasty
waiting for seconds

I Went to the Woods
I went to the woods to try something new. I wanted something
other than the comforts of today’s world. I wanted to make and do
everything myself without a premade house or equipment. I wanted
to be able to take care of myself. I succeeded.I went to the woods
to learn new skills. I learned how to take care of myself and to make
food. I learned to paddle, to make a spoon and to help others. I
learned how to make a fire and to cook. I learned about the woods.
I went to the woods to change my lifestyle. I learned to use
water as a precious resource and not to pollute it. I learned that
just because everyone else does something it doesn’t mean I should.
I learned that if you only take what is needed, there will always be
enough.
