Semester Programs Coordinator

We seek a talented and motivated individual to take the lead role in coordinating all aspects of Kroka's hallmark semester programs: the Winter Semester (January - June) and the Ecuador Semester (September - December), which serve 25-35 students each year with a unique college-accredited expeditionary learning adventure curriculum.
Schedule: Year-round, full-time, starting August 2018.
This is a residential position, housing is provided.

  • Qualifications:
  • Experience in outdoor education and enthusiasm for working with adolescents and families
  • Personal and professional wilderness travel experience
  • Ability to multi-task and maintain an organized understanding of the big-picture
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with families, students, and co-workers
  • Strong computer and organizational skills
  • Energetic positive outlook
  • Interest in both indoor administrative work and outdoor teaching opportunities
  • Flexibility with a work schedule that will include evenings and weekends during busy seasons
