FARMHOUSE CONSTRUCTION APPRENTICESHIP
Beginning on September 2nd we will begin construction on our 200-year-old farmhouse, renovating the historic structure into a living building for the future generations of Kroka.
We are looking for two Kroka alumni who would like to learn the building trade while contributing to the most important project in Kroka’s history. Apprentices will work under master craftspeople in all aspects of sustainable building from frame to finish. This apprenticeship can be a year-long or a semester-long commitment. Room, board, and living stipend are offered.
|Compensation||$100/week plus room & board|
|Schedule||Fall: September – December | Spring: January – June|
|Responsibilities||Full-time work (5 days per week) as project demands|
Morning chores on campus 5x/week
Additional weekend responsibilities including campus and animal care
